Working together, WE WILL keep this blight out of the Jefferson Valley and prevent the transfer of wealth from communities and families to corporations.
Please help Fund the Fight. Whatever $$'s you can! Please write your check to SSJVC/Fund for the Fight to cover costs to spread the word, counter the spin, and build our legal defense. Please mail to SSJVC, PO Box 977, Whitehall, MT 59759.
Now, more than ever, our members need to write public officials and state agencies. Use the Public Officials List on this site. Use the Questions for NorthWestern on this site.
If and when the draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) is actually released (JeffCo forced out a “draft-draft”), and if the Montana DEQ and BLM approve MSTI as needed and justified in Montana (which still should not be assumed), every concerned citizen will need to provide official public comment in writing and at public meetings.
Do your part to balance coverage on MSTI. Citizens need to respond online to articles that appear about MSTI and write in to our newspapers. Write letters-to-editors of local papers using the Facts About MSTI on this site.
Finally, join Save Scenic Jefferson Valley Coalition on Facebook for updates and timely information. |
